interpersonal skills etc. All material adheres to the principles
of outcomes-based training and are aligned to unit standards
where possible.

Training in various leadership skills, such as coaching, leading
teams, motivation, delegation etc. |

Training of Education, Training and
Development (ETD) Practitioners, Assessors and Moderators
Training of organisational trainers and facilitators to perform
effectively when facilitating groups. The NQF level 5 registered
qualification is used for this purpose and registration of competent
learners are done through the ETDP SETA. Modules covered are e.g.
design of training material, facilitation of groups, doing training
needs analysis etc.
Training of Assessors and Moderators are also done in line with the
registered unit standards and registration of these competent learners
will be through the ETDP SETA.
● Team building
Building of teams through a process of getting to know one another and
work on aspects to assist teams in performing optimally. The focus
will be on team members to firstly get to know one another better, by
looking at personality profiles of each member and then identifying
what are aspects that inhibit the team to perform optimally. These aspects
are worked on through experiential exercises and teams are assisted to
share experiences and transfer it to the workplace.

Development of Training Material
Development of any new training material in line with NQF registered
unit standards in an outcomes-based format. This can be combined with
a train the trainer programme to enable organisational trainers to
train the material. Material will adhere to adult learning principles
and will be constructed in such a manner to ensure optimum learning of
those attending. The training package will consist of a Learner
workbook, Facilitation guide, PowerPoint slides and Learner assessment
guide.

Accreditation of Training providers
Assistance in the accreditation of private Training providers and
organisational Training divisions at relevant SETA ETQA’s. This
service comprise of general consulting to assist in the process of new
applications and well as assistance in maintaining of existing
accreditation. The service can include assessment and moderation
services if needed.

Job Profiling
The process of job profiling is the determining of competencies
necessary for successful job execution. A scientific approach is
followed using existing competency models and involvement of experts
in the job, such as managers and incumbents to determine the relevant
competencies. Competencies are presented in order of importance for
the specific job.

Competency Assessments and Matching people to
jobs
Competency assessment implies the assessing of people against a
predetermined set of competencies, such as leadership, working with
people etc. to determine their level of potential in each competency.
Assessment tools can include personality assessment, ability
assessment and simulation exercises like group discussions, role plays
etc. The result of these assessments is compiled in a report,
highlighting areas of strength and development. This can be utilised
as a basis of focused staff training and development to enhance
overall performance.
People are matched against competencies determined as essential for
successful job execution. This will enable organisations to identify
individual and team development areas. This process can also be used
for staff selection purposes.

Personal Development Planning
Comprehensive approach of determining competencies needed, assessing
individual against these competencies and compiling of a structured
personal development plan to address all the identified development
needs. This is then followed up with actual interventions to address
the needs identified. Such interventions will include experiential
activities, coaching, work-based projects and short skills development
workshops.

Mentorship
Implementing of comprehensive Mentorship programmes in organisations.
The process includes the training of all participants. Mentors are
prepared through this training to operate successfully as a mentor and
all tools needed are supplied to them. Mentees are introduced to their
role and how to get the most from the opportunity. In training of
Programme Coordinators organisations are empowered to run their own
Mentorship programmes, should they want to. The process also includes
the matching of Mentor and Mentee to ensure a successful mentoring
relationship. All forms etc needed to run an effective intervention
are part of the process. |
